Theme of the week - New e-meeting system: Adobe connect
It is now decided that we in the autumn will move on to Adobe Connect. SUNET will provide operation and maintenance of servers and therefore, almost all universities in Sweden will use the same system.
Education
Learning Lab will provide training in the system once everything is installed and ready. It is then free to start using Adobe Connect. No bookings will be needed because there will be a room that is private where you can then take students when you want.
Beta Testing of the installation has been completed and the results are being compiled, but because this is not finished before autumn, Marratech will remain as an alternative until the end of the year.
What about Marratech?
Important to know is that Marratech web page will soon be shut down and you will not be able to download the Marratech client from there. Refer your students to this page instead: Marratech
