Open access week
This week the whole world will celebrate the Open Access movement. At BTH we applaud the idea that everybody should have the same possibility to study research results via the internet no matter if you have a loaded credit card or not. Since about 20 years there is a strong international movement with a vision that all peer reviewed research publications should be permanently archived and accessible via the internet at no cost.
Blekinge Institute of Technology has since 2007 an Open Access policy. At the library we are guided by this principle and try to support the researchers making their research freely accessible.
