Project ideas and project applications

In the Learning Lab, we work with, among others, to help teachers and researchers to find the tools and methods they use in their teaching and research. Before presenting something new for teachers and researchers, we need to test themselves and gain experience. We do this often with other partners.
Sometimes we need to seek additional funding to be included in major projects and then we write applications. We can search for money among many different actors, such as EU, KK Foundation, SIDA, VINNOVA and the Swedish Royal Library.
Recently we sent an application to the EU called the Collaborative E-learning Arena (CELABaSe). In CELABaSe we are eight partners from the southern Baltic region. We will among others develop learning objects, methods for online learning and pilot courses. The project will also build some Lärcenter to which students should be able to go to get access to technology and a place to meet people on.
This week we have been, and presented our project for those that will decide if we get money.
We have also been at a meeting this week where we discussed ideas for an EU application, Technology-enhanced learning, as also is about developing new ideas about online learning.
Keep your fingers crossed now for us in early April when we will receive if we have any money to our project CELABaSe!
