The upper floor of the Library - an open and creative study environment

At the start of autumn term 2010 the reconstruction of the university library will be completed. The new furnishings are starting to appear on the upper floor of Library Gräsvik. The aim is that it will be an open room which offers a variety of environments to suit different needs: individual work, group work, relaxation, stationary computers, using the wireless network from your laptop etc. Photo of the new furnishings on the upper floor of the Library

The reading room offers a quiet study environment, and there are well equipped group rooms with LCD-screens for creative and inspiring meetings. There will be a mix of new furnishings and existing furniture from Library Gräsvik and Library Infocenter.

Librarians will be available for students' questions regarding information retrieval and information management. Also on the upper floor, there will be an IT-helpdesk for students, as well as the BTH Career Center. The latter offers students help with reviewing CV:s or applications, Swedish and English language feedback on students' theses and consultation regarding oral presentations.Photo of the new workstations on the upper floor of the Library

We hope that you will find it an inspiring, flexible and creative place!
