want to use your cellphone for searching and reading?
Are you on a conference and want to quickly look up a speakers publications? Do you want to use your travel time to work or school effectively? There are many apps for your mobile phone as you may find useful, especially when you're on the go and not have access to your computer or the Internet.
Several of the databases the library subscribes to offer apps for smartphones, here are a few of them:
SciVerse ScienceDirect, Scopus SciVerse Alerts
With this app you can read articles and book chapters in your phone. You can also annotate and share references. If you as a researcher are indexed in these databases, you can get alerts on your phone as soon as the article has been cited by other.
For iPhone and Android. The ScienceDirect app is also available for iPad.

There are also other apps that have similar opportunities and where you mainly can search and read the material, some examples are:
EBSCOhost
Find Articles in EBSCO databases, and read them in full text on your phone. For iPhone and iPad.
PubMed Library, PubMed Mobile
For iPhone and Android.
For all these apps in that you must have an account with the database. This provides you free of charge if you are a student or employee at BTH.
Mendeley
If you use Mendeley as a reference tool, you have great benefit of this app. Through it you have a direct sync with your Mendeley collection and this means you have constant access to your references and pdf´s in your phone. You can also easily share your references with others. The references are organized in the same way as in your web collection. The Mendeley app is available for iPhone.
