Exciting services from forskning.se
The Swedish Research Council runs the website www.forskning.se . There's plenty of research information and the idea is to write about current research in a simple and understandable way. Forskning.se is collecting and sorting data on research and hereby make it searchable.
A truly great place for anyone who wants to be inspired and get an overview. Now Forskning.se developed several new services.
One of the services is a new widget (a web application) where you can get news from forskning.se directly on your own website. The widget can be easily adapted and tailored to your needs. We at the library will put it on the BTH library pages of research, but you can explore the widget by yourself here!
Another new feature is to provide access to a presentation tool used by forskning.se with the name infact. An example of how it works is here. The content is intended for primary school. Forskning.se has now decided to make the tool available as open source and the university of Gävle has together with BTH hcreated a website where the tool can be tested before you choose to download it and create something of your own. Read more at www.infact.se. BTH's effort appears under the heading - "How do you do". The test page will be released at week 26.
