Got stuck searching? tutoring/guidance for students, researchers and doctoral students
Students at Blekinge Institute of Technology are welcome to book an appointment with a librarian for tutoring and advice within the following topics:
- Information retrieval - for example advice on how you can set up a search strategy, how to choose appropriate search terms and which information resources are relevant for your subject field.
- Writing references - tips on guides to reference styles (e.g. Harvard, MLA, IEEE), help to interpret references etc.
- Reference management - advice on choosing a reference management system, introduction to reference management systems.
- Quoting and paraphrasing without plagiarizing - how you can avoid plagiarism and how to quote and paraphrase in academic texts.
You can book time for individual or group tutoring.
