Library extra workers
Let me tell you about the extra workers in the libraries. We have four students who are working at Library Infocenter: Andreas, Mimi, Amanda and Paulina. At Library Gräsvik, there are five: Lina, Erica, Emma, Frida and Katarina.
At Infocenter, the students working hours are Monday to Thursday 16-18. At Gräsvik they work Monday to Thursday 15-18 and Friday 14-16. The students are also working when we need extra help, for example when we have meetings and training courses.
The students duties include manning the information desk, tag books, send interlibrary loans, bring up books and clean the shelves. The service is a bit limited when the students are working. But on the other hand, we can keep the library open, and their knowledge is good so that you can get help anyway.
We are very satisfied with the student jobs, they are a great help to us and their assistance mean that access to the library becomes greater.
