New library web

We are glad to present the new library web in English. When creating whe new website, we thought of the library build of functions and services. What do you want to do at the library? Which services can we offer?

When brainstorming with post it-notes and whiteboard about what you use the library for, the conclusion was - a huge amount of things! We decided to split up everything from different entries or functions:

Search for Information
Study & Learn
Write & Present
Teach & Tutor
Service for Researchers
Contact & Visit

These entries were the base when building the new structure. The library web also contain a separate part describing the field of activities and how we are organized.

Links to entries and field of activities can be found on every page. The links shown in the navigation´s middle section varies with the chosen entry. "Study & Learn" has its own links, "Write & Present" has others, and so on.

Comments and RSS

One new thing is the possibility to comment each page. We also provide some RSS feeds, for example you can subscribe to news withing your own subject area.

Colors and pictures

The colors used for banners and tips are three different accent colors that are included in the BTH graphic profile. The new pictures are supposed to illustrate the diversity within the library.
