SFX@Blekinge
What is SFX?
SFX is a linking system which gives access to full text and/or other useful services directly from the database/portal where you are searching.
When you click an SFX-button
or SFX-link (SFX@Blekinge) in a database, it will lead you to an SFX-menu in a new window, where you are offered different linking options and other services.
The SFX@Blekinge menu offers:
- direct linking to the full text (of an article or e-book), if it is available at BTH and if you have a user account.
- further searching in the library catalogue to check if there is a printed version.
- direct linking to an order form where you can order the article/book.
- more services depending on where you are searching from and what reference you started from.
- further searching in different search tools on the Internet
- the possibility to purchase the book from an Internet bookstore
- further reading about the book in different online communities
- downloading the reference to a reference management system, e.g. EndNote or RefWorks
- citations in e.g. Web of Science
- the possibility to see the journal's impact factor in Journal Citation report.
