Enhancing the CEllular Infrastructure: COgnitive RAdio Networks for Beyond 4G

CECORA

CECORA is an Integrated Project (IP project), to be submitted to EU FP7 Call 8, Objective ICT-2011.1.1 Future Networks. The objective is to develop solutions that allow the advance of cellular communications by including the Cognitive Radio Network (CRN) technology in 4G. CRN autonomously coordinates the use of free spectrum by identifying it based on specific policies used to observe the spectrum. By doing this, the network becomes more advanced to the benefit of end-users. The key words are adaptive, learning, cognitive and intelligent.
