As most of you know we had initially plans to have a workshop for
Cones (http://www.bth.se/cones) in Sweden late 2012. I've talked to
several people and we now propose a slightly different scheme for 2012:

1. If anyone is interested in setting up a topic-specific workshop
then Cones will be able sponsor that workshop (or even take care of
all costs). Several topics have popped up, e.g. software archs,
self-adaptive systems or heuristic search methods in SE.

2. Cones will be able to sponsor any trips you have when collaborating with any research group or researchers in the Nordic Countries and the Baltic States during 2012. (Cones has several times done thisduring the last two years for many researchers already.)

Please come back to me or Kai with suggestions regarding #1.

Regard #2 please come with a request to me and Kai and we will approve
your proposal and thus finance any costs you have related to trips as
described above.
