Game Systems and Interaction Research Laboratory
GSIL specializes in the development of theory, methods and practice in the design and development of game systems, interactive simulation and visualisation systems, digital fabrication, robotics and interaction concepts and technologies.
GSIL is a research cluster based upon human factors and cognitive engineering that held its formative kickoff meeting on 5 May 2009. GSIL research themes fall within the broad categories of: Design and Experience and Cognitive and Neural Engineering.
GSIL conducts scientific and empirical studies of human/machine system interaction based upon cognitive science, psychophysiology, and ethnographic methods, and undertakes technology-driven innovation in interactive system concepts, mechanics, supporting technologies, development processes and applications.
