Since 2009 (Last Quarter), I'm a Doktorand (Ph.D Student) at BTH. I started Ph.D after finishing M.Sc in Security Engineering from BTH. My current work focus on detection of unknown Spyware by using data mining. The main aim of work is to to find a viable solution for distinguishing between Potentially Unwanted Porgrams (PUP) and benign software. My objectives are to find suitable approaches for reducing the number of features (extracted from the binaries) and determine which learning algorithms and their parameters configurations are suitable for optimized PUP detection.
Before joining the BTH, I was Lecture at COMSATS Institute of Information TEchnology, Wah Cantt, Pakistan where I taught approximately 5 years. I recieved my Master of Computer Science (MCS) from Hamdard University Karachi, Pakistan.
