The Centre for Spatial Development and Planning (in Swedish "Center för Territoriell UtvecklingsPlanering", CTUP) is an interdisciplinary centre of competence established by the University Board of Blekinge Institute of Technology in 1998.

The Centre undertakes research, investigations, eduction and seminars on a commission basis in the field of spatial development and planning - including spatial planning, strategic environmental assessment and regional development.
CTUP is an independent unit within the Institute and is led by a board appointed by and responsible to the University Board of the Institute.
In charge of the Centre's activities is a research chairperson. The secreteriat also employs a part-time secretary. The largest part of CTUP's research is undertaken by PhD students and senior research staff at the School of Planning and Media Design (in Swedish) and the School of Management.
