Customers - Competence - Capital
The Course Running plan 2009/2010:
Uganda - October 2009
Egypt/Cairo - January 2010
Costa Rica/ San José - April 2010
This course is directed towards Telecoms in the developing world engaged in the transition process from state owned company to deregulation and a competitive market. The focus is on strategic development and the three C´s; customers, competence and capital, which are the three most important stepping stones in development of a competitive and profitable business.
This course gives a global outlook at the developments within the Telecom-sector, building on experiences from countries all over the world. The basis of the training is a business simulation where the programme provides practical experiences combined with relevant theories of how to further develop business-oriented operations and organize the restructuring process needed on a competitive and market oriented telecom market.
We have experience from running the TSTO programme (Transition Strategies for Telecom Operators) and the LTM programme (Liberalized Telecom Markets) with participants from more than 40 countries from Asia, Latin America and Africa. The programmes were financed by Sida, the Swedish International Development Agency.
