Vice-Chancellor's Office
Blekinge Institute of Technology (BTH) is a recognized university under government control. Higher education institutions in Sweden have a Board of Governors and a Vice-Chancellor. The Vice-Chancellor is appointed by the Government.
Operations at BTH are led by the Board of Governors and the Vice-Chancellor. The Board of Governors has authority over all BTH's concerns and is responsible that tasks are carried out according to the Higher Education Ordinance.
The Vice-Chancellor is executing the activities under the Board of Governors. The Pro-Vice-Chancellor is substituting the Vice-Chancellor when she is absent, and the Vice-Chancellor also has a supporting Office.
