Takeoff for a sustainable Blekinge
On Tuesday 11 October, there was a kickoff for Sustainability Forum Blekinge at BTH. Some 80 people gathered, all wanting to contribute to the work for a sustainable Blekinge. Business leaders, decision-makers, financiers, politicians and officials attended the kickoff.
The morning began with inspirational lectures by for exampel Karl-Henrik Robèrt, professor at BTH, and Charlotta Szczepanowski, quality and environmental manager at Riksbyggen, who spoke on the theme "The planet is in - Riksbyggen work on sustainability."
In the afternoon the programme continued with a workshop led by Åsa Stenborg from The Natural Step, where the group sifted ideas and created projects that will lead to a sustainable Blekinge.
Finally, a letter of intent was signed by the Regional Council of Blekinge, BTH, Blekinge County Council, County Administrative Board of Blekinge and the Municipality of Karlskrona.
