The importance of the topic cannot be overemphasized - Lie group analysis helps to solve many important differential equations used in mathematical modelling in many and diverse fields.
During this course you will obtain knowledge of traditional analytical methods for solving linear and nonlinear ordinary and partial differential equations. Furthermore, you will develop skills in applying Lie group analysis to solve nonlinear ordinary and partial differential equations.
