BTH's "Global Swede" candidate
Carolina Villamil is BTH's candidate for the Global Swede ceremony
Denny Carolina Villamil (Carolina), MSPI '12, has been nominated the BTH "Global Swede" candidate. At a ceremony in Stockholm on 7 May, Carolina, along with those students who have been nominated at other universities, will receive a Global Swede Diploma. Dean Michael Mattsson, BTH, will also participate in the ceremony.
The Swedish Institute (SI) distributes Global Swede Certificates to students who are at the end of their education with a focus on innovation and entrepreneurship. The criteria for selecting students to the Global Sweden ceremony include: the student has excelled in innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship in his/her academic skills. The student who is nominated shall be a good ambassador for his/her university and for Sweden, have high social skills and show a great commitment. Students who are nominated must be a citizen of a country outside the EU/EEA.
