A year of studies at Blekinge Institute of Technology (BTH)
Most programmes start in the autumn. Each year of study is divided into two terms: the autumn term begins in August and lasts until a couple of weeks into January, and the spring term begins in January and finishes in June. One full academic year lasts 40 weeks, and each term lasts 20 weeks.
Application and tuition fees
Since the autumn term 2011, Swedish universities, including BTH, charge application and tuition fees for citizens from outside of the European Union (EU), the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland, applying for studies at the First cycle (Bachelor) and Second cycle (Master) level.
Education at BTH is free of charge for students with an EU/EEA and Switzerland citizenship.
Please note that all students are responsible for the financing of their own housing, food, books, etc. Every student needs to have 73,000 SEK per year to be able to stay in Sweden.
When to apply for bachelor and master studies
For the autumn term 2012 BTH is currently not accepting late applications.
