Application and tuition feesStudenter

Since the autumn semester 2011, Swedish universities charge application and tuition fees for citizens from outside of the European Union (EU), the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland, applying for studies at Bachelor and Master levels.

Applicants with an EU/EEA and Switzerland citizenship are exempted from the application and tuition fees.

Please note that all students are responsible for the financing of their own living expenses (housing, food, books, etc.) while studying in Sweden. Every student needs to have 73,000 SEK per year for living expenses while studying in Sweden.
