for students with Special Needs

All Swedish universities and university colleges, including Blekinge Institute of Technology (BTH), are able to provide some form of assistance to students with disabilities. BTH, like the other universities, have planned how to help these students pursue their studies, regardless of their disability.

For European exchange students, additional information can be found at the European Agency for Development in Special Needs Education website.

Students with disabilities

At BTH, the student counsellor is responsible for matters relating to functional disabilities. NOTE! All students with disabilities are advised to as soon as possible make contact with BTH's student counsellor already when they apply for studies at BTH.

If you have need for special aids, i.e. you are dyslectic, in a wheelchair or similar, please contact the Student Counsellor Mariana Sahlström via e-mail.

Please note, that Ms Sahlström cannot help you with scholarships!
