Flexible courses for contract training

Contract Learning is based on a win-win Strategy.

The main purpose is to develop your employees' working skills, as well as to share our highly qualified knowledge and resources.

Together with national and international partners, Blekinge Institute of Technology designs and offers contract learning programs upon the customer's requests. Courses are designed flexibly in terms of time schedule, course plan, location, and so on. During the courses, participants will obtain the latest knowledge in the subject area in both academic and practical way intensively, which can be adapted to their future work easily and effectively.

Types of courses

There are three standard types of courses. They are designed in a flexible way and can be adapted to your needs:

Course type 1

The course is offered in English on location in your country by our trainers. The ideal number of participants is 20-25 per group. A standard course is a 2-week course.We can also offer to establish required programs upon your needs and request.

After the courses, all participants will receive certificates.

Course type 2

A longer course, or program, for example a specially Executive MBA, are given in English. Students will have few lectures on campus and most of the courses will be given online. The program normally takes 1 year (full-time) or 2 years (part-time).

After students have finished studies, they will be issued a degree from BTH.

Course type 3

Courses are given in English and located in Sweden. The ideal number of participants is 15-20 per group. A standard course is a 3-week course. The course is divided into two parts. The first 1.5 weeks is academic part. Participants will attend lectures, meetings and discussions. The second part of the course is focus on  practical exercises, participants will travel and visit associated companies, organisations and governmental departments in Sweden. During the course, we will, of course, offer participants more information of Swedish culture and societies.

After the courses, all participants will receive certificates.

Requirements for participants

Since courses are given in English, English skills in listening, speaking and writing are essentials for every participant. All participants should also have working experiences in the subject areas covered.

Subject areas

Courses are given in all subject areas covered by BTH and some areas where we are more wellknown are urban planning, sustainability, telecommunications and management.
