Annually Blekinge Institute of Technology offers around 90 study places to high-qualified European students within the Erasmus programme. Students can apply for studies for one or two semester at the university. Students from our partner universities in the USA, Duluth and Dallas, are also welcome to apply for studies at our university.

The International Office is responsible for the initial contact with exchange students. Applications and questions should be addressed to the International Office. At the beginning of each semester, an introduction week (in autumn) or two days introduction (in spring) are organised by the International Office for all incoming foreign students. The program of these events will be published on the International Office webbpages on due time.

A 7,5 ECTS course in Swedish language is offered during the semester at evening time, twice a week and free of charge. No pre-admission necessary.

The International group of the student Union, the Int Group has developed a mentorship program and is taking care of putting Swedish students and the incoming foreign students in contact upon arrival.
