| Abstract: | The purpose of this paper is to present a framework for intelligent goods and to relate this framework to software agents. It includes a description of how different levels of intelligence connected to the goods can be categorized, as well as of the different possibilities of locating information and processing. Additionally, we present three different types of transport services based on intelligent goods, and show how these can be realized using agents. These agents are finally related to our presented framework. |
