File sharing over P2P suddenly increased the last years. The number of users that connected themselves into large networks is growing by the minute. We think it is a good area to examine. The area we studied is from a security aspect. The users are aware of the threat that exists and the consequences. Therefore we have chosen to study home users and their habits handing out surveys among high school students. For further foundation in our paper we also did a computer-analysis watching network-traffic in two known P2P programs.
