The thesis work intends to provide architecture for the streaming applications over cellular network. The application is to be delivered over mobile phones as a service. To achieve this we identify requirements for streaming applications over cellular networks. It is identified that the present generation infrastructure and device support is limited and hence planned architecture is to be targeted overt next generation i.e. fourth generation. We analyzed the existing peer to peer technologies that are successful over fixed networks in order to answer the domain specific challenges efficiently. Proposed architecture is designed and evaluated. As a result, the architecture is believed to deliver efficient and effective service oriented streaming data over cellular networks.
