This degree project evaluates an innovation in environment friendly energy for heating/ cooling systems developed by “HUMLE Energi”. The product is a new type of ground heat collector. The collector’s capacity is evaluated and a dimension template is developed. By analysing the experiences on heat pumps and ground heating systems available today, we have created a dimension template that can be applied immediately. Based on the research facts available today it will be a good start to determine the requisite size of the collector versus the heat pump. The degree project deals with: • The heat pump technology • Similar experiments with ground heat collectors • A proposal for a dimension template. • A presentation of development possibilities • A basic market analysis As the product is due for patent application we cannot go into any further details about the work in this report version.
