Abstract: The user of a brush saw is exposed to vibrations in hands and arms. Theoretical and experimental modal analysis is used to investigate the handle attachment. The theoretical models are simplified to decrease the time for solving them. The methods and models of this work will later be used in the design process to decrease vibrations.
