Summary in Swedish: Som ett alternativ till att karakterisera lärande som "networked" -som lnärmast låser det till lärande i datornät - föreslås bruket av begreppet "mediering", som har en mer grundlägande betydelse (åtminstone som det används inom kulturhistorisk verksamhetsteori). Vilka betydelseförändringar det kan ge illustreras med exemple från lärandemiljön Femte Dimensionen i Ronneby.
