Professional background/interests

I graduated in 1989 as a specialist nurse in psychiatric care. After a couple of years working in psychiatry, I studied to become a nursing instructor and has worked as such as well as lecturer for almost ten years, specifically at Kristianstad University. This was followed by a couple of years as Deputy Head of Department at a psychiatric ward before I crossed over to R & D work at Blekinge Competence Centre.
I am currently an Industrial Doctoral student and my thesis as well as my my work at Blekinge Competence Centre aims to examine various aspects of the implementation of the national guidelines for psychosocial interventions for schizophrenia and to help for patients to receive an evidence-based care. I am also secretary of the EBV Council.
