Professional background/interests
I was educated at the Swedish School of Sport and Health Sciences, in Örebro and at Karolinska Institutet, in Stockholm.
I then worked at Karolinska Institutet, partly as a research assistant and partly as a lecturer in public health.
In the fall of 2005 I was employed as a lecturer in public health as well as a project coordinator for the EU project WelHops at the School of Health Science, Blekinge Institute of Technology.
Since the autumn of 2007 I am a doctoral student in Public Health Science and enrolled at the Faculty of Medicine, Lund University.
My research is about how different life events affect the performance of physical activity and recreation. Life events that are studied include; getting older, expecting children and becoming a parent and to suffer from a chronic illness (arthrosis).
