Project 1: The Swedish National Study on Aging and Care (SNAC), a national longitudinal multi-center trial in which four research centers in Sweden are involved. The aim of the project is to gain more knowledge about aging and the care for the elderly (www.snac.org)
Project 2: Eurhomap- a survey study on home care in 31 European countries. The purpose of this project is to gain more knowledge into home care in Europe and to develop models of "best practices" that can help decision makers to develop integrated services in health care for people living at home (www.nivel.nl/oc2/page . asp? pageid = 9529)
With a particular focus on older people's functional ability, health, multi-morbidity, mobility, sleep problems, welfare and quantitative method.
