Here we have gathered information about which Chinese holidays and festivals that Confucius Institute, BTH will celebrate and honour. In advance before each holiday / festival we will send out information and an invitation.

Chinese New Year

The Chinese New Year, also known as the Spring Festival is one of the largest and most important of the Chinese holidays. In 2013, the Chinese New Year is on February 10th. Welcome and celebrate the Chinese New Year with Confucius Institute, BTH.

Dragon Boat Festival

Each year on the 5th day on the 5th Lunar Month, China celebrates the Dragon Boat Festival. Confucius Institute will arrange a Dragon Boat Festival in September at Campus.

On the 8th August the Confucius Institute turns two year. This will be celebrated!

Moon Festival

Moon Festival / Mid-Autumn Festival is an autumn festival that marks the end of the harvest season and the beginning of the dark half year. Is is also a celebration where the moon symbolizes family unity and cohesion.
