International Conference MOGRAN-13

Symmetries and exact solutions of

differential and integro-differential equations

Ufa (Russia), June 18-22, 2009

FIRST ANNOUNCEMENT

The 13th International conference on Modern Group Analysis (MOGRAN-13)* will take place in Ufa, Russia, in 2009. The preliminary dates are from Tuesday June 18 to Monday June 22, 2009.

We plan to hold the conference at the tourist camp located in 120 km from Ufa on a beautiful shore of Pavlovskaya water storage. Participants of Mogran -3 in 1991 should remember wonderful nature of that place and excellent possibilities for informal discussions.

The aim of the conference is to stimulate discussions of new ideas, mathematical methods, and applications of group analysis to problems of mathematical modeling.

The main topics of conference will include:

1.Classical group analysis approaches to new mathematical models and nonlinear problems.

2.New trends in the group analysis of differential and integro-differential (stochastic, with fractional derivatives and etc.) equations.

3.Applications in mechanics and engineering.

4.Experience of using Lie transformation groups methods in teaching.

We hope the conference will be of interest not only for professional researchers in Lie group analyses but also for a wide audience of scientists and teachers.

If you want to participate please inform Prof. Rafail Gazizov gazizov@mail.rb.ru, mogran13@ugatu.su and me nib@bth.se at your earliest convenience so that we could estimate how many people we shall have.

Professor Nail H. Ibragimov

Chairman of MOGRAN-13

_________

*  The series of MOGRAN conferences was intended to be a continuation of two conferences in group theoretic methods in mechanics held in Calgary

(Canada) in 1974 and in  Novosibirsk (USSR) in 1978. The subsequent

MOGRAN-3 to MOGRAN-12 conferences took place in 1991 (Ufa, USSR), 1992 (Catania, Italy), 1994 (Johannesburg, S.A.), 1996 (Johannesburg, S.A.),

1997 (Nordfjordeid, Norway), 2000 (Ufa, Russia), 2002 (Moscow, Russia),

2004 (Cyprus), 2007 (Karlskrona, Sweden ) and 2008 (Porto, Portugal).

SECOND ANNOUNCEMENT

Dear Colleagues!

We hope your will have a good trip in summer 2009  to Ufa for participation in the international conference on Modern Group Analysis (MOGRAN-13). We will glad to see all of you on beautiful shore of Pavlovskaya water storage.

We are preparing now an application for a financial support of the conference. Therefore we need a preliminary list of participants with preliminary titles of their presentations. Please send us the required information as soon as possible (but not later than January 20, 2009).
