Sustainable Product and Service Innovation is the all-embracing theme for the School's (ING's) research activities. Our sustainability education is ranked as the best in Sweden and the third best in Europe. Our research within Sustainability is unique in the world.

ING's researchers are active and internationally recognized within Mathematical Modelling, Sustainability Assessments, Structural Analyses, Water Jet Cutting, Sensors & Signals, and Distance Laboratory incl. noise and vibration suppression.
