I handlingsplanen för kvalitetsarbete gällande utbildning finns beslut om att högskolan löpande ska genomföra en Studentspegel, enligt Högskoleverkets modell, för information om hur nöjda studenterna är med utbildningen vid BTH. Hösten 2010 genomförde BTH sin första egna studentspegel. Enkäten riktades till alla programstudenter (ca 3500) som läst minst 1 termin på sitt program.

Vad är Studentspegeln?

Studentspegeln ger en bild av den utbildning som bedrivs vid BTH utifrån ett studentperspektiv och belyser grundutbildning utifrån en rad olika aspekter som samtliga har betydelse för utbildningens kvalitet och studenternas möjligheter att fullfölja den utbildning som de har valt. Studentspegeln tar också upp frågor som rör den studiesociala situationen och studenternas erfarenhet av bemötande från andra studenter, lärare och annan personal.

När genomförs enkäten igen?

Under vårterminens första veckor kommer högskolan att genomföra en ny studentspegel, på svenska och engelska. Den kommer att skickas till ca 3800 studenter. Vi behöver din hjälp som studierektor, programansvarig eller kursansvarig att sprida information till studenterna vid kursstart om studentspegelns genomförande och betydelsen av studenternas åsikter för högskolans kvalitetsutveckling av utbildningen. Studentspegeln kommer också att marknadsföras genom affischer, information på skolans hemsida och smartsigns samt på BTH:s Facebook.

Sista datum för svar är förlängt till 12 februari 2012.

Studenterna har möjlighet att, genom att svara på enkäten, delta i utlottningen av en Ipad2. Givetvis behandlas uppgifterna som studenterna lämnar konfidentiellt.

The "BTH Student Mirror 2012" (Studentspegel in Swedish)

BTH's Program and Action Plan for Quality Assurance declares that the Institute will conduct a yearly student survey (known as Studentspegeln) for information about how satisfied our students are with their education at BTH. The BTH Student Mirror, which follows the national student survey of the Swedish National Agency for Higher Education, was conducted for the first time in 2010. The survey was directed to all program students (approximately 3500) who had at least one term of study experience.

What is the BTH Student Mirror?

The Student Mirror provides information about the education offered at BTH from a student perspective and includes various aspects, which have significance for the quality of education and the students' possibilities to complete their education. The Student Mirror also addresses issues that concern the study environment and the students' experiences from their meetings with other students, teachers and other staff at BTH.

When will the next Student Mirror be conducted?

During the first weeks of the spring term a new BTH Student Mirror will be conducted, in Swedish as well as in English. It will be directed to approximately 3800 students. We need your help as study director, program director or as responsible for a course to spread information to your students at the start of the term about the BTH Student Mirror and the importance of the students' opinions for the improvement and development of the Institute's education.

The survey will be open till February 12, 2012,

and can be reached through the Student Portal ("Studentportalen")

The students who fully complete the questionnaire have the opportunity to participate in a draw for an Ipad2. The information that the students provide will of course be treated confidentially.
