EASA
The European Academic Software Award (EASA) is a competition for the application of innovative software and education technology, designed to stimulate the understanding, development and use of knowledge media within higher education across Europe.
The EASA Award is open to staff and students of academic institutions in all European countries. A panel of jurors from EKMA member countries assesses entries for the awards, and shortlisted entrants participate in the EASA Finals, bringing together experts on learning technology and software development from across Europe. At the Finals, projects of exceptional quality are nominated for EASA awards.
Previous EASA Finals were held in Germany, Austria, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands. Awards have been received by entries from Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Norway, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey and the UK.
