keynote speech given by prof. yrjö engeström at the fifth dimension conference in ronneby, sweden, june 16 2004.

The speech is divided into subsections according to a structure that can be downloaded here (pdf) (updated Aug. 12!). Each subsection equals one videoclip. Therefore it is recommended to print the structure before watching the videoclips.

Prof. Engeström's slides used in the speech are now available (pdf)!

The clips are stored in three different formats: sound only, a low resolution video suitable for modems and, finally, a version suitable for faster Internet connections. The format is QuickTime (mpeg 4) and a QuickTime media player (or an equivalent mpeg 4 player) is required. A free QuickTime player can be downloaded here. (will be opened in a new window)

There is now possible to listen to the speech in its full length and there is also possible to download the speech as a stand alone file. Check out the new options here.
