We, the Southeast Sweden Universities, had the honor and pleasure of hosting SIDeR07 in March 2007. On behalf of the organizers I would like to thank all the participants, workshop organizers, supporters and sponsors, keynote speakers, paper and poster presenters, student volunteers, staff and - not the least - the providers of good meals and hot coffee, for making this conference fun, interesting and memorable.

Nearly 100 people, mostly interaction design students from master programs in Sweden, Denmark, the Netherlands and Germany, gathered together and enjoyed interesting posters and presentations, keynote speeches, workshops and a delicious conference dinner. We have received a lot of positive feedback - thank you, all!

So let's do it again! SIDeR08 will be held at Syddansk Universitet, Sönderborg, Denmark, in the end of March 2008. Remember to remind your teachers/students/friends about the possibility to submit short papers and posters to the SIDeR conference as a way of getting constructive feedback and learning more about the Interaction Design research community, as well as about different Interaction Design master programs in Scandinavia and other parts of Europe. The deadline for student submissions will probably be in January 2008 - so start thinking about what you want to present next year...
