Who am I ?
I was born July 1st 1961 and I grew up in a small village called Kyrkhult in the south-east of Sweden. My mother and father did not have an international perspective when they decided to give me my (in Sweden famous) first name (I have problems when visiting UK, Denmark, Finland, Netherlands, Spain, etc). Currently I have a house in Karlshamn, and a summer house by the sea in Norje (located in Sweden). I live together with Elisabeth, her daughter Annie, and our son Albin who was born July 10 1997. I have a great (very great) interest in horse trotting, english football and heavy metal.
I received my Master of Science, Computer Science, in 1987 at the University of Växjö, and my Licentiate of Software Engineering in 2000 at the Blekinge Institute of Technology. I am currently working as the Dean of School of Computing. between July 2005 and March 2009 I was the Head of Department of the Department of Systems and Software Engineering, School of Engineering at the Blekinge Institute of Technology (since 1989). Previously, I have been working five years at Elektronikcentrum with software development (primarily database development), education and project management, and 14 1/2 years at Ericsson AB with quality management.
