Informatics and work - undergraduate level
IAW are co-founders of the Informatics Network Sweden, which is a group of researcher and teachers in Informatics from different universities in Sweden who partners in running two Master programs in Informatics. See more about this post-graduate program at
IAW was part of the interdisciplinary teacher's team involved in developing and running the two-year vocational program on e-Government at Blekinge Institute of Technology. This was a distance education program which was first run in the autumn of 2004. The program was run by the School of Technoscience, Humanities and Planning, and program responsible was Pirjo Elovaara. The program was intended mainly for undergraduate students working in the public sector, and who feel they need to learn more about the theory and practice of e-government.
Annelie Ekelin was course responsible for a course on e-Democracy (7.5 ECTS) and Sara Eriksén iwas course responsible for a course on Everyday design of IT (7.5 ECTS) within this educational program.
IAW has developed and run summer courses 2002-2006. All of these courses were run as distance courses, at half speed (10 weeks), and held in English. The courses were Participatory Design (7.5 ECTS), e-Government - an introduction (7.5 ECTS) and Everyday use and design of IT (7.5 ECTS). Sara Eriksén was course responsible for these three summer courses.
