Blekinge Institute of Technology

Master Programmes at school of computing and school of engineering

Welcome to apply to the programmes starting in Autumn 2010. The application period for non EU/EEA student is open from December 1st 2009 until January 15th 2010.

Blekinge Institute of Technology (BTH) is the top uni-versity regarding number of international applications among all Swedish universities.
At the moment there are around 1300 students from over 60 different countries at BTH. Also many indi-viduals in our staff comes from other countries than Sweden.

No tuition fees

Tuition at higher education institutions in Sweden is free of charge. This means that all Swedish students and students from the EU/EEA are educated free of charge, as well as students from outside this area.

This situation is currently under review by the Government and a decision is expected shortly. The likely outcome is that tuition fees will be introduced for students from outside the EU/EEA. However, as Sweden is keen to attract top students from around the world, a system of scholarships may replace the current system.

Already students can apply for scholarships for travel/upkeep from the Swedish Institute. You can read more about scholarships at the International Office's website.

Our three campuses - in Karlskrona, Ronneby and Karlshamn - are growing continuously as student environments and all three campuses are located in a an unique archipelago environment. Do you want to learn more about our region and see some pictures?
