I have a PhD in IT & Work Practice from Blekinge Institute of Technology. My main interest is how people use technology in their everyday activities and how such an understanding can contribute to design in various ways. As a basis for taking on these questions I rely heavily upon an ethnographic
approach. When it comes to designing ways of interacting with technology I have a special interest in technologies that can be included in fields such as Ubiquitous Computing, Tangible Bits, Pervasive Computing and so on.
My thesis can be downloaded from here: Accountable Interaction. Exploring interactional features of technology in use.
