Holidays

Note that there is no official Christmas break at most Swedish university programmes. The autumn semester runs from August/September to the middle of January. There will be no classes during the Christmas week, but you might have classes as late as the 21st or 22nd of December and your first exam or seminar already a few days into the New Year. Each teacher plans his/her own schedule for every course. There is no formal "spring holiday" except for a few public holidays around Easter and First of May.
