Planning for sustainable tourism-the AGORA Toolbox
A toolbox for integrating sustainable tourism into spatial planning at local and regional level
The Agora Network Sustainable Tourism Development in the Baltic Sea Region has produced guidance and tools for developing sustainable tourism. The Swedish project Integrating sustainable tourism in planning at local and regional level run jointly by the European Tourism Research Institute (the link leads to another site), Östersund and the School of Planning at Blekinge Institute of Technology, Karlskrona have produced this toolbox for the planner to assist in integrating sustainable tourism development into spatial planning at local and regional level.
The contribution also derives from research and development in the national research programme "Tools for environmental assessment in strategic decision-making" initiated and co-ordinated from BTH.

"Project part-financed by the European Union (European Regional Development Fund) within the BSR INTERREG III B Neighbourhood programme"
