Admission
METHOD 2 MBA Programme
GENERAL
This method is intended to assess the applicant’s suitability to study on the Internet-based MBA Programme.
SELECTION CRITERIA
Prior education and professional experience.
SPECIFICATION OF SELECTION CRITERIA
If there is a higher number of qualified applicants, than seats in the programme, a selection is made within the group of applicants who fulfill the requirements. The selection method used aims at assessing the applicant’s suitability for studying the MBA programme, based on the applicant’s educational background and working experience.
The first step in the selection process is an assessment of the relevance of the student's educational background in relation to the programme. Points are given, where no relevance = 0 points, some relevance = 0,5 point, and high relevance = 1 point.
The second step is an assessment of the relevance of the student's working experience in relation to the programme, following the same model. No relevance = 0 points, some relevance = 0,5 point, and high relevance = 1 point.
In total, the applicant can get a maximum of 2 points.
Points are given as follows:
Education:
Master of Science in Engineering (5 years or 3 years + 2 years) = 1 point
Master of Science within a technical subject area = 0,5 point
Bachelor's degree within a technical subject area = 0 point.
Working experience:
Manager, Project Manager, Personnel Manager, Budget and financial responsibility = 1 point
Project participant = 0,5 point
None of the above = 0 point
MAXIMUM MERIT RANKING
The merit ranking is based on an assessment of the applicant’s prior education and professional experience, with the purpose of determining whether the applicant has sufficient preconditions to successfully complete the programme. The assessments from the two selection criteria are added together to a final merit ranking ranging between 0 and 2.
WORKING METHOD
If all applicants with the same lowest merit point cannot be offered a seat, lots will be drawn.

The broadness was very valuable for me, even if I already have been working for many years, it gave an insight and deeper knowledge.
