BTH researcher gets MIT scholarship
Fredrik will look more closely at labour market issues relating to trade unions, employers’ organizations and the role of collective agreements in mitigating the negative consequences of structural change. He will study at the Sloan School of Management, Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Boston.
– It feels great! Partly to be awarded such a dignified scholarship, but also to dot it into the foundation’s 100th anniversary! The exchange between Sweden and the United States is and remains important and I hope to contribute to this on issues relating to the functioning of the labour market, regulations and the roles of the social partners. The American political map is being drawn right now, and with that there has been an increasing interest in how other countries regulate their labor markets, says Fredrik.
