Vice-Chancellor welcomes new international students
Today, all new international students gathered at BTH. Vice-Chancellor Mats Viberg was there to give them a warm welcome. The Indian students come from the universities that BTH collaborates with and the students will be studying at one of BTH’s four master’s programmes.
More than 80 students from BTH’s collaborative universities in India who are now starting their studies at BTH. They were all welcomed by the Vice-Chancellor today.
-It is a great step for you to come to a completely new environment and a whole new culture. I wish you all the best in your studies – but don’t forget to have fun, too, said Vice-Chancellor Mats Viberg.
Benny Lövström, responsible for BTH’s internationalization work, also welcomed the students and talked about the importance of having international relations. The students also got to meet their programme manager as well as library and student health service staff etc.
Gurudutt Velpula, responsible for BTH’s India collaboration, gave the students solid tips and, above all, that the students from today can call themselves BTH students!
