Campus totalförsvar is a national initiative where Swedish universities collaborate to strengthen Sweden's total defense through education, research and innovation.
In a time of increased security challenges, the need for knowledge and skills in total defense-related subjects is greater than ever. Through Campus totalförsvar, professionals and students have access to academic education and research that contributes to society's resilience.
BTH coordinates the knowledge area for research in "Technology and Defense" and participates with some 30 other Swedish universities in the initiative to highlight the role of higher education institutions in building resilience and endurance in crisis and war, nationally and internationally.
Academia, authorities, business and civil society
Campus totalförsvar brings together academia, authorities, business and civil society in a common platform to develop and disseminate knowledge in areas such as security protection, crisis preparedness, leadership in crisis, energy supply and logistics. The collaboration aims to quickly and effectively strengthen total defense by training future experts and promoting research that meets the needs of society.
Through Campus totalförvar, a long-term and sustainable structure is created to provide Sweden with the knowledge and skills needed to address both today's and tomorrow's security challenges.
